Snake bite vaccine shortage in Rajbiraj

Rajbiraj: Problems have been arisen in treatment of patients of snakebite after anti-snake venom vaccine was finished in the Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital, Rajbiraj.

The hospital administration has pasted a notice to this effect publicly as more patients came, said Rajbiraj Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr. Tek Narayan Mandal.

According to Assistant Health Worker Lalkishor Singh, some two to four patients visit the hospital daily this season. The vaccine has been finished up even in Siraha District Hospital, BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan and Koshi Zonal Hospital.

The vaccine here was finished here quickly as there was pressure of patients after it was finished in Siraha a month ago.
