ONE DOCTOR IN PLACE OF 12 IN JUMLA HOSPITAL
Jumla, Aug. 4: An doctor has been making do in Karnali Zonal Hospital, Jumla.

In that hospital there is a vacancy for 12 doctors of various faculty.

In the hospital, where 30 staffs were working, now 73 staffs work. But it is a predicament that because of only one MBBS doctor and understaffed nurses, no full use of the equipment has been made including that of video x-ray, and endoscopy, said in-Charge of the Emergency Ward, Krishna Budha.

As there is a lack of manpower, some 25 patients of various diseases have now been referred elsewhere, said Dr. Sanjaya Balak.

Earlier, all kinds of treatment was available here except for patients needing CT scan.
